Table of Contents & how to order the book.
Below you can see what my book of poetry will have in it. Almost all of these 107 poems are on my Substack page. If you want to read any of them, just search the poem title in my Substack home page.
I never asked for paid subscriptions because when I started this Substack thing in late April of 2023 I wanted people who would read my stuff. And now, 232 posts later and 560 followers, I want to get my book out there. Keats only had 200 copies of his work published in his life, granted his life was very short, and I hope to hit that number at least.
So, instead of thinking about an annual paid subscription ($50-$60), consider buying this book with 107 poems for ~$25 delivered. This is what I wanted all along from Substack: readers who I can guilt into buying my book. Other than being a reader & occasional commenter of my writing, this is the support I am asking of you. I am old-fashioned; while it’s wonderful that my poems are floating around the digital world, I only truly believe in a printed book. Something that you can hold in your hands & mark with a pencil while drifting off to sleep is what I treasure.
There is an added benefit that only a few people know about and that is most of these poems are very good for reading out loud. Some will make you sound profound and some will make you sound batshit crazy. For the latter, read “What A Day”.
For those who want a signed book of poems, I have ordered 20 copies. Let me know via Substack, email or the other ways. A signed copy will cost $5-6 more for the shipping.
Lulu is where you go to order the hardcover book. It costs $19.86 before mailing, so about $25 for most people or 23 cents per poem. Such a deal. I am working on both a paperback & an e-book version which will be available sometime later.
You click on the image of the book and the next screen looks like this. You click on the “add to cart” and the rest is straightforward.
Boom! Done. Ordered. I'd love a signed copy but if there gone fair enough. Looking forward to receiving my book Good Stuff Wes!
