Lovely image it brought to me, perfect for one that desires only the best of company and not a crowd. It seems like an interesting place for countless pondering. Thank you

A two minute walk from our apartment. The weather has been quite cool these past weeks, lots of rain and the Mistral wind but no problem. We walk, shop, stroll around, take a bike ride. It's been lovely. Next Monday we leave for Lyon.

On Monday we head north to Lyon for a few nights, then on to Annecy, then Colmar, then Strasbourg. Magic.

I need that house. And a mouse size bowl of ice cream, now.

What a delightful match these words are to that house. Beautiful and sweet.

Thanks Patris. That view is one minute from our apartment. The charm doesn't get old.

I’m not suggesting you guys stalk anyone (yes I am) but wouldn’t it be great to meet the occupants…?

It really would be interesting. Tonight we had dinner with a local family in their home, 8 minute walk from this apartment. Their daughter runs the Airbnb that we are renting but she lives in Berlin so they showed us around. I had to have my first edition of the poetry book delivered to their house. They brought it over while letting us in to the apartment for our month long stay. So, they invited us over and it was just lovely. Boy, these French know how to eat. Laurie and I waddled home in well over 8 minutes.....

What a wonderful way to celebrate your book! Yes they absolutely know how to cook - one of my nephews (and godson) fell in love and had the very good sense to marry a Frenchwoman. He’s a lawyer (reluctantly)

but a chef in his heart. Together they are incredible. Every meal is a feast.

[As your book is for the soul (no better description). So exciting!]

It took Laurie and me two weeks to edit that first edition. We just got the second edition to proofread on Monday. It starts to look like a quality book now with all the tidying up, hundreds of subtle changes. I think this next edition will just about do it.

Book design is an art in itself.

(Coals to Newcastle I know in this case.)

Can’t wait to see the finished book, Wes. Your collaboration with Laurie takes it higher.
