I've just had an onomatopoeiac tsunami sweep me away :) Nice one Wes!

Thanks Jonathan. If I ever were to teach poetry I think doing a poem based mostly on sound is a fun exercise. You could be standing by a train track or walking through a zoo. This was a lot of fun once I got the feel of it.

Quite entertaining! Even looking up the meaning of “onomatopoeiaing” was fascinating, and to use it in a poem is brilliant. Thanks, Weston!

Wow I needed this dance. Waterfalls never stop explaining themselves to the water below, do they Wes. There was a beat to this. So lovely

A few days ago, I went to a mountain to see a magnificent waterfall. It was huge and majestic. Also, I read this poem, when by a mere coincidence the song, Water Fountain was playing through my headphones.

Beautifully written!

Thank you Cathy. On Monday we head up to Lyon for 4-5 days. Staying in the old town right across the river from where you were. Can you recommend a good place for pate de compaigne and fromage a la tete, a place where we can buy food already cooked and we just heat it up?

Lucky you! A gem of a location that mostly only the French know about. I would hit the riverside Farmer's market which is across the river from you. It was there most days but was really big on the weekends. Lots of choices. Cheese, fish, pasta, beaucoup vegetables and bien sur le poulet rôti. So many small farmers too with their special cheese and pain de campagne.
