Great story with a good moral. Avoid beaches with surf casters if you plan to swim.

I say there are more fish in the sea. Toss this one back he’s a prude-fish and too small a chum for bait. The shark that was in the surf attracted to blood is another event. Marion saved the day. Had me in stitches. A treble hook approach for good humor and great nifty 10 # lines.

I love the last line of the story.

I imagined they fell in love and lived happily ever after!

Dammit, Oresti, you have me laughing.. I know I should trust you but discussing Flannery O’Conner the other night I was worried there would be some fearful life lesson.. And there was! Great short story, love it.

Having grown up with fearful life lessons, I won't be recreating them in my writing. All these little joyful things are an antidote for me and a small victory each time that love can prevail. Making a person laugh, well, that is the grail. Thanks Patris.
