When I get surrounded by this kind of beauty a kind of silly dizziness overwhelms me and my writing refuses to do anything but bow down to beauty and give in to giddiness.
Thanks 26th. I loved Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Calvin and Hobbes. I have written a handful of children stories, one is called, "No More Naps!" about a young boy who sneaks out of the house.
What a lively little boy, so full of life. This poem depicted a really nice scene on my mind made me smile as if I was three witnessing the whole thing. Such a happy feeling is what I got from reading this. Thank you
This is gloriously and visually happy, generous, loving. What a beautiful little fellow, Wes, I thank you for the introduction.
The photo is causing some envy though tbh.
Thanks Patris. Did you recognize him from that poem I posted last May, 2023. That was his first appearance.
I thought he was very familiar - beautiful — but then I am a sap for little boys, little mobsters that they are.
exactly. Dad used to say that we were all anarchists.
He was absolutely correct
Little boys, like old men, wouldn't notice or care about bird droppings on their shoes. That's why we love them so much! Beautiful piece, Weston!
Thanks Rich.
When a child shows up inside and starts telling you a story, you're best to pay attention. Love this little boy and his dad.

Thank you Ika. That's is what happened to me while writing it. It's a difficult world going on around us but the beauty continues on.
