After a day’s labor

Outside

In the winter

That tide of warmth

An undertow

Would overwhelm me

With the urge to lay for a moment

Upon the couch

And sleep

Ha! I can honestly say I have never been THAT tired. I always have just enough energy to eat. Although just one time I fell asleep in the front hall, resting against the radiator. It was a very cold day of work and those really take it out of you.
